UDB Instruction Manual Rev. 07.02
Press the red “ON/OFF” button to turn the Ultimate Dealer Button onand off.
Press the “SHIFT” button to begin setting the UDB. The current display
area flashes to indicate that it is in set mode. Press the “SHIFT” button
again to move the cursor to the next cell.
Once the cursor is in the desired display area (i.e. hours, minutes, or
seconds of ROUND TIME, SMALL or BIG BLIND, or ANTE), press the
“UP” or “DOWN” arrow buttons to set preferred value. Pressing the
“DOWN” arrow will decrease values from 999 to 000. Pressing the
“UP” arrow will increase values from 000 to 999.
Pressing the “UP/DOWN” arrow button once will increase/decrease
values by one each time the button is pressed. Pressing AND holding
the button down continuously will increase or decrease the values rapidly.
There is an optional “K” (representing thousands) for the small/big
blind and ante displays. Once the cursor is located in either cell
immediately following the small/big blind or ante cells, press the “UP”
or “DOWN” arrow to turn the “K” on or off.
Once all cells are set to the desired values AND none of them are
blinking (The UDB’s cells reach a non-blinking state by pressing the
shift button once more after the optional “K” cell for the “ANTE”
setting.), press the “UP” arrow to advance unit to the next round and
repeat steps above to set Rounds 1-10. Once in the non-blinking
mode you can use both the “UP” or “DOWN” arrow buttons to go back
and forth between round settings. You do not have to utilize all 10
rounds for your tournament. (i.e. If you wish to include only 6 rounds
leave all cells set to “0” in Rounds 7-10 before returning to Round 1 to start the UDB.)
To pause the timer at any time, press the “START/STOP” button.
Pressing it once more will re-start the timer.
Once the timer reaches 00:00:00 an alarm will sound to notify you.
Press the green “START/STOP” button or ANY lower control button to
turn the alarm off. The UDB will automatically advance itself to the
next round. Press the “START” button to begin the next round’s countdown.
The UDB preserves all values when turned off and on again. To clear
all values back to “0” remove batteries for a few seconds.
